FASHION REVOLUTION DAY
"Believe in fashion – an industry which values people, the environment, creativity and profits in equal measure, and it’s everyone’s responsibility to ensure that this happens."
On 24 April 2013, 1,134 people were killed and over 2,500 were injured when the Rana Plaza complex collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Each year from 18-24 April, to commemorate the Rana Plaza tragedy, Fashion Revolution Week will bring everyone in the fashion value chain together to help raise awareness of the true cost of fashion, to show the world that change is possible, and celebrate all those involved in creating a more sustainable future.
To get involved with events in your town head to the Fashion Revolution website for more info.
