Starting today, Three Little Birds & Little Boy Blue will be hosting local creatives in a informal Q&A about their practices and careers.

First up we have Jodie Cunningham, who was actually my teacher in my first year of fashion at Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT). She taught me how to use Photoshop to create patterns and illustrations from my own art work.

Here's an excerpt from her website:

Cunningham has been the recipient of several prestigious awards including the Fulbright Scholarship for the Visual and Performing Arts, 1999/2000, Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship 1999/2000 and the University Medal in Visual Art, ANU 1996. In 2002 Cunningham completed a Master of Fine Arts  by research at the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales. Prior to that Cunningham studied at Hunter College of the City University of New York. She graduated from Canberra School of Art in 1996.

Come along from 2pm in the Hotel Hotel foyer, 25 Edinburgh Av, New Acton.
