String Savers | a collector's attitude

My dad collects things, lots of things, they are objects with potential function and future use - a use that is not always determined at the time of collection.

I've realised that I do the same; with fabric, objects with wearable art potential, buttons, inner tubes...etc!

I came across the term 'string savers', meaning those people who would even save the string of a parcel; and realistically why shouldn't you. 

There is a abundance of resources, it all comes down to interpretation, whether there is value in the eye of the beholder and an ability to tranform or transfer this value to the viewer or consumer.
